❤️ Happy Birthday to our Kaitlyn. ❤️
For six years, Kaitlyn has been by my side. And when I really stop and think about everything those six years have held, it’s almost impossible for me to put into words what she means to me.
I met Kaitlyn when she was still a teenager, and somehow, right before my eyes, I’ve watched that teenager grow into the most incredible woman. I’ve watched her grow, change, learn, love, and become such an important part of not only Loved by Loveless, but of our family.
Through six years of changes, chaos, successes, failures, tears, laughter, long days, hard seasons, and moments when I truly didn’t know how I was going to keep going… Kaitlyn never left my side.
There are people who work for you, and then there are people who become part of you. Kaitlyn became part of us a long time ago.
I truly don’t know how I would have survived the last few years without her. There have been times when she has carried more than she probably even realized. She has shown up for me when I needed someone the most, and there is absolutely no paycheck, gift, diamond, or amount of gold that could ever equal what her loyalty and love have meant to me.
Chris and I will forever be thankful for the impact she has made on our lives and our family.
I believe with my whole heart that God sends you special people in this life. Sometimes you don’t realize when you meet them just how important they are going to become. Six years ago, I had no idea that the teenager who came into my life would become someone I would one day love like family.
Kaitlyn may be my one employee, but “employee” doesn’t even begin to describe who she is to me anymore.
She is my coworker.
She is my friend.
She is my sister.
She is family.
And no matter what the future holds, where life takes either of us, or how much things change over the years, I hope she always knows there will forever be a place for her in our lives and in our hearts.
