"North Cape May -- A Dream Realized." This ad ran in the Philadelphia Inquirer in 1928. A year before the stock market crashed... I wonder how that impacted sales.

The listed "improvements already built" sound familiar, except for the "Spanish casino that seats 400 people." ??? Does anyone know what that referred to?

I found this amazing vintage work of embroidery art at a thrift store a few years ago and I just love it. It's unsigned but I imagine whoever made it had a deep appreciation for Cape May's charms.

It features the lighthouse, the water tower, the gazebo, a Victorian house and the Sisters of St. Joseph retreat House that is now the Cape May Point Arts and Science Center. Cape May Point Arts and Science Center

Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources will hold a workshop on Pollinator Gardens on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 6 to 8pm at Rutgers Cooperative Extension. Topics will include the importance of pollinators, planning the garden, plant selection, and the role of the pollinator garden year-round. The cost to attend is $10.
