Dear friends,

After five and a half years, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close our Vineyard Haven storefront at the end of this year.

This is not the end of rinpo, but a transition for us. We will be moving online and doing shows and events on and off island, and we hope you’ll continue to see us there.

I started rinpo with a simple idea: to create my version of the Tibetan gift and clothing shop I grew up in and watched my parents build. Six years later, that idea is still evolving and growing. Our foundation is a commitment to unique, handcrafted products, thoughtfully made and offered at a fair price for all. I’m proud of how far we have come, grateful for everything we’ve learned along the way, and excited to keep developing this idea.

It’s hard to put into words what these past 6 summers have meant to us. The Vineyard is a truly special place because of the people that make up this community. We’ve been so lucky to meet so many wonderful people, build friendships, and become a small part of this Island. We will carry these memories and friendships with us always.

I also want to thank my partner Olivia for helping and supporting me since day 1. I could not have done it without you.

Thank you for supporting us and believing in us. Our last day will be December, 24 2026 and we will be having lots of sales till then.

We are excited to announce our new clothing can be found at Karma Fine Crafts located in Belmont and Newton. I came across her wonderful Newton storefront by chance a few years ago and we connected over our love and appreciation for handcrafted items. Their beautifully curated shop offers handmade clothing, jewelry, textiles, and fine crafts from around the world. We are honored to be featured in their shop and excited for this new chapter of rinpo.
