Silvernicks is a new & used shop on the square in Virden, IL. We have been called a gift shop, an antique store, a thrift shop and more!! We have a variety of vintage items, some furniture, home decor, giftables, housewares, handcrafted items and more. we also carry an assortment of lumber, doors, hardware and architectural salvage. We love our customers because they have made us what we are today. We've been a business for 16 years but in this location for just a short while. Each time we have moved, we have strived to better our business. Come see us and be sure to tell your friends!!

Mark your calendars!! This Sunday August 9th from 8-2, Silvernicks will be at the Litchfield Pickers Market in downtown Litchfield Illinois!!

Such a fun time with many vendors, great food and entertainment!!

If you have ever been past our house, or to any of our yard sales, you probably saw the shed out near the garage that Sterling had started building last year. He is finally getting the floor put in!! We are still undecided if we want to use this as storage, or make a by-appointment- only shop for some of the extra stuff we have available that's not in store. We shall see! 😊

My sincerest apologies. If you come to Silvernicks..... there MIGHT be a nasty smell.🤢

Apparently a breaker got shut off to one of the rooms upstairs. It happened to be the room with a freezer that had some food in it. We hadn't been up in that room for probably a couple weeks. 😷

It leaked on the floor and all the way down the stairs as Sterling was getting it to take it to someone who wanted to purchase it. 🫣 luckily she understood that she isn't getting it, but I am mortified!!

Had a customer come in and loudly asked what died. 🫣

I plan to work on de-funking the place as soon as i close. 🙄
