It happens to all of us ... you fall in love with something, buy it, then get home and say, "Oh, no!"
The task is to keep everything you love about the original purchase but balance the part that doesn't work into a cohesive total look that makes you happy again.
With our situation, a beautiful silk raspberry tablecloth suddenly had a casual, picnic-like feel in an elegant historic dining room of pale blues. What did we do? We leaned into the bold contrast but elevated it with beautiful gold and white accents, knock out china and stemware and fresh, fresh accents of florals and citrus!
