Day 12 Summerween
Today we hiked down to a waterfall and on the way back saw these beautiful views as the sun was setting. So tonight's watercolor is inspired by the mountain views and the solar eclipse that happened today. Tonight there will also be a meteor shower and six planets will be aligned. Quite a busy day for the celestials.

Day 11 Summerween
Today's piece was inspired by the Luray Caverns as pictured at the end. The caverns are impressive by the way. Carmen said she felt like she could sleep there and Gooby said he saw a ghost out of the corner of his eye. I love a good ghost story. This ghost was inspired by my Man or Bear piece in the woods. But make it a woman and gentle and barely there; ghostly.

But also Fairy Friday delayed a day because my days were off and I realized late last night that it was Friday 😅
I always wonder how fairies are born. I like the idea that they were simply there when a flower bud bloomed. So, here is my fairy baby 🥰

Day 7 Summerween
This is my go to Fall Ghostie but I really wanna do them in every season. But why Epy? Because. Then my real life Ghostie in my living room will have a family! Anyway, here is a sweet Summerween Ghostie in his little straw hat. My real life Ghostie at the end has a flower crown and sunglasses 👻🥰

Day 5 Summerween. The year was 2004 and this was required reading: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I have always been one to draw or paint what I imagine. There was a new show that came out called Brave New World that actually did the book justice for once. If you are wondering why this would fall under Summerween, the book is based on a dystopian society where much of human emotions are suppressed with a medication called Soma, pictured here. It's literally government control at its finest.
