Eight years ago when I started Sign Gypsies VB, I had no idea the relationships that would form because of corrugated plastic signs in yards. But it goes far beyond that. It’s the communication leading up to that sign. It’s the excitement and care I put into making each sign perfect for each individual recipient. It’s the communication afterward and then every event or year that follows.

My customers truly become my friends, some of my very best in my life.

They were so supportive and understanding when my Nana passed away almost four years ago. They’ve cheered me on during graduation seasons and times when my husband was deployed. And now, as I face cancer, the love, concern and support I’ve received has been overwhelming. I’m truly the luckiest woman in the world to have this amazing community of customers I call friends who support me in all aspects of my life. AND I get to be there for them in times in their lives to help celebrate their happiest occasions. Pinch me!

How much fun is this new red and white mega birthday board?
When I heard Luke, who we help celebrate every year, was super patriotic, I knew I had to break out these brand new star clusters, red white and blue stars and this iconic eagle that had literally JUST been delivered from our warehouse in Texas!
They went straight from the box to a yard and he loved it!

🩵 Please Read 🩵

Hi sweet customers! If you were waiting on a June invoice today, I just finished sending them all. Please check your emails. Please look over the details of them and ensure I have the details correct. My mind is not what it was a month ago.

Several weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer and it’s thrown us all through a bit of a loop. After the initial shock I immediately thought “what about graduation season?!” I’m happy to report that I’m having surgery JUST after so do not fear. And while I am down recovering and fighting, Mr. Gypsy will be taking care of you all and we’re making plans to bring a precious friend/neighbor of ours on board.

My best friend’s daughter, who I coincidentally met over six years ago when I did their very first sign, made me this graphic I’ve posted. 🩵 It’s so special.

I’m coming to you today to ask for a little grace if I forget to reply right away or flub an invoice, maybe a little extra time in responding to emails, and prayers.

You know celebrating others is my love language. It fuels me. When I began this business eight years ago everyone who knew me said “if there was ever a job for Lauren, this is IT!” With my recent diagnosis, the person who has always celebrated every reason and season… I find it even more important to not let these special moments slip away.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of them. It’s truly an honor every time I’m invited into your yards to help surprise your loved ones. Next up? Grad season! Ready, set, GO!🩵
