Weak side shots are a hot topic for saddle hunters. Often times hunters try to stand up straight on their platform with either no support from the tether, or wrap the tether over their shoulder. Both of these scenarios eliminate the added safety of a saddle by taking the tension off the tether and essentially using the wrong type of harness for that position. To safely and comfortably get a weak side shot, you must have two things. First, you have to have a saddle that can perfectly fit you so you can comfortably get into position. Second, you need a platform you can trust to hold you at that angle without kicking out.
