Yay!!! We won the NIQ Design Impact Award for our packaging redesign!

This award recognizes designs that don’t just look good, but also perform on shelves. Design is critical to how we communicate with you, and our redesign was built to make a strong first impression while guiding every step of the journey so you can understand what’s so valuable about both the sustainable packaging and the powerful plant based formula inside.

We partnered with the most amazing Purely Righteous Brands of San Diego on this redesign, and it was such a joy working with them. We took the roots of our very first design (shout out Renae Hetzer) and carried that story forward into where we are today.

Every blend we make starts with a story.

2250 is the beginning of Root & Splendor: our family house number, where kids run barefoot, chickens roam, and fresh air moves through the home day and night with a constant flow of hustle and bustle. It’s life; beautiful and joyful, exactly as it is.

2250 is where love shows up in the small, everyday things. Where nurturing isn’t a moment, it’s the whole day. I wanted to capture that feeling, the safety and softness underneath all the noise, and that’s just what we did.

Everything we do at Root & Splendor is intentional, even our blend names. 2250 is home: simplified, joyful, and full of love.

This week’s stop: Whole Foods

We’ve been on these shelves for a year and a half now, and we still haven’t told you the full story. It took about a year of nurturing this relationship before we got the yes, and a lot of doors had to open before this one did. Whole Foods was one of the partnerships we wanted most, one we worked hard for, all to bring you the best laundry essentials at your favorite stores.

Every time we walk in and see our products here, it still doesn’t get old.
