Put in some work catching local shiners to have something bigger in the tanks for y’all this weekend due to the supply issues. There’s a tank with medium/heavy mix out in the shed they are $12 a dozen.

Also still have some of my normal smalls as well.

*UPDATE WEDNESDAY 7/29*
Some good news, my supplier was able to source a limited number of small shiners from another location. So we have about 6lb of small shiners on hand for the week that just arrived. I also have a commercial bait fishing permit, I’ll put in some work to add to that count. Those will be sold separately as local caught mixed size (if I have any luck). Hey better than nothing!

Bummer! Just got word that my supplier is completely out of shiners and will not be getting a truck until next week. Some sort of issue with the farm they come from in Arkansas. Apologies, but we certainly won’t be the only shop with no shiners this week.

Take this chance to hit the saltwater! Eels, bunker, mackerel, squid all in stock.

*Update Sunday Afternoon* We are officially sold out of all sizes of shiners until Wednesday.

We are currently sold out of small and medium shiners. Still have some larges left. Plenty of crawlers and saltwater bait to get us through. Next delivery will be Wednesday. Thanks!

Alright folks, my current tank divider setup wasn’t working. Too many mediums getting through and mixed in with larges and I’m spending too much time re-sorting them. Trying a new setup. Eels are now contained in this holding basket I built, please close the lid! Each size shiner is in its own tank again, please read the signage as sizes moved around.

Howdy Folks! Just finished packing up some mackerel and fresh crawlers. Squid and trout worms back in stock as well. Tanks are loaded down with fresh shiners and eels. 🦑
