Creating this prom dress was truly such an honor and privilege. ✨💜

From the very first  Megara pic to  the final details — including the custom button accents on the straps — was a vision she wanted for her special day and hopefully I delivered for this wonderful and kind young lady.

Watching this Hercules-inspired princess dress come to life has been such a special experience. 👑

Thank you for trusting me to create such an important piece for such a memorable night. 💫
Swipe to see the entire process from concept to completion! ✂️🪡✨

Fashion met meaning on the steps of the Met last night
This year’s Met Gala theme, “Fashion Is Art,” invited guests to express their personal relationship to fashion as an embodied art form.

Although I expected way more impressive looks  with such a broad theme, the  red carpet did come alive through some unforgettable trends:
• Sculptural couture that blurred the line between garment and installation.

🗽 I mean  Heidi Klum was a literal statue. (not lady liberty,  unattractive,  but  well done prosthetics non the less )

• Sheer layers and illusion dressing celebrating the body itself
• Metallics and armor-like designs evoking strength and transformation
• Dramatic trains and exaggerated proportions turning movement into performance
• Hand-painted fabrics and textured embellishments that felt like walking canvases

Tonight wasn’t just about what was worn. It was about what was embodied.
