Hello all,
First I want to thank all of my customers over the past several years. Your confidence and trust in me made doing the work much more rewarding. Although I have some favorite projects, I truly enjoyed every one.

Unfortunately due to a commitment to a full time job out of town, leaves no time for me to put in the required effort to maintain quality work. So until further notice I will not be taking any cerakote jobs. I am however still doing FFL transfers by appointment only.

Having the freedom to make personal choices is part of what makes this country so great. I chose to cerakote this rifle after several other shops wouldn’t. I do not have to agree with you to suppprt your right to have an opinion. We can all have opinions wether we agree or not. This project reminded me that we all make choices..and we must take responsibility for the choices we make in all facets of life.

It’s been about 6 weeks since Nick has joined us. He is settled in the shop, working on some gunsmithing, stock refinishing and doing some of the cerakote work as well. Please help get the word out that we are working to become a full service gunsmith shop in addition to the continuing cerakote services.

As most of you know already, Doe Run has gone through some big changes in the past 6-7 months. I have tried to maintain the quality and service that you have been accustomed to. In recent months I know the lead times have increased which is why I am excited to welcome Nick Westendorf Jr. to Doe Run.
He is a Wabash native and recently earned an Associate Degree from Colorado School of trades - Gunsmithing. You can contact him directly at 503-726-6381 with any gunsmithing questions and pricing. He is able to do anything from reducing trigger pull to stock refinishing. AK work to lever action repair. He will also be handling some of the cerakoting duties as well as be available on site by appointment, for transfers and drop offs during normal business hours. With his experience and passion for this work, I believe that the transition will be smooth and beneficial for all involved.

Unfortunately due to the cost of doing business with increased pricing across the board, I also have to increase some of the cerakote pricing as well as transfers. From now on any transfer will be $30. But will still remain free if the gun remains in the shop for cerakote or any gunsmithing work. I will work on an updated price sheet and post ASAP.

Distressed Patriot brown benelli with micro slick bolt looks so good, it’s easy to forget the impact protection and corrosion resistance cerakote is known for.
