I was lucky enough to find a vintage book with illustrations, so of COURSE I had to incorporate them into the design! I made sure the vase portion of the book displayed the illustrated pages, and incorporated them into the paper flower as well.

A one-of-a-kind, handmade piece.

Happy to say it found a home on Saturday 🥰

Thank you, Green, for an AMAZING show yesterday at Twisted Wilderfest! You were all so incredibly generous and kind, and I loved seeing so many repeat customers and friends! You kept us busy all day and made packing up super easy, since we sold ✨️over half✨️ our inventory! City of Green, Ohio - Government you put on such a wonderful event!

Yesterday's success was extra meaningful because Blushing Bark faced some challenges this week. One of our cats got really sick and my husband, who I've never done a show without, had to go out of town for work. I thought I would have to cancel, but thanks to the generosity of our family and friends, we made it work!

Extra shoutout to my SIL Brenna, my dear friend Mariza, and my parents for all your help this weekend. And to my husband who did all kinds of coordinating to make sure I'd have the help I needed. I couldn't have made it through the weekend with you. Thank you all SO MUCH!!!

I know it's been...a minute...but I return to the internet with exciting news! You can find me this SATURDAY, September 26, at Twisted Wilderfest in Green from 10-4! The event is held at Southgate Park, 5300 Massillon Road.

I will have a beautiful selection of everyday and seasonal wood flower designs, as well as a build-your-own mini magnetic bouquet bar! These mini magnets were a HUGE hit at my last show so I am super excited to offer these again, this time with even more selection! Literally DOUBLE the options!

Thank you Medina for another INCREDIBLE Art in the Park yesterday! I was SO excited to be back for the second year in a row, and it was lovely seeing so many familiar faces! The Medina County Art League puts on such a great show!

The highlight of the show was definitely the build-your-own magnetic bouquet bar! It did so well I had to send my husband home halfway through the show for more supplies! And even then, we nearly sold out! It was so fun seeing the bouquets everyone made. You all did a great job!

Book vases flew off the shelves as usual (I only have ONE left). I'll have to start hunting around for old books again. If you ever find yourself getting rid of books, send me a DM! Even if they're old and a little beat up. Those make the most unique book vases!

This was my only show this summer, so I truly appreciate every one who made it so special. Thank you again, and stay tuned for the fall show schedule!

I have a growing collection of containers and vases purchased from estate sales, antique shops, thrift stores, and garage sales. It's my favorite way to upcycle and breathe new life into an item someone discarded. I'm always drawn to pieces with a floral design, often doing my best to replicate the design in the arrangement I create. It's a fun challenge and often helps pull me out of creative slumps.

I picked this adorable mug up from an estate sale last year. It features three different floral designs, but this lovely bouquet is what I'm replicating. Come see it this SUNDAY at Art in the Park in Medina's Courthouse Swuare form 10-5!

A teeny tiny peak at the wedding I'm working on! Pastels have to be some of my favorite colors to work with. It'll be finished up tomorrow and delivered to the bride on Sunday.
