You know what that means... it's the perfect time to quietly clean out the kids' bookshelves while they're at school. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We welcome books for preschoolers, homeschoolers, unschoolers, little readers, and even babies-to-be! Your outgrown books could find a loving new home, and your students will be none the wiser. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Tucked inside a copy of William Merritt Chase: Modern American Landscapes 1886โ€“1890 (๐Ÿ“available at the Medina location) was an actual letter from The Art Institute of Chicago.

This museum letter has been quietly hiding between the pages for 26 years.

Our volunteers would like to imagine it spent decades discussing art with the book after the lights went out:

Letter: "Did you hear what they said about American Impressionism?"

Book: "Shhh. I'm on page 47."

This is why sorting donations is never boring.
