Big milestone for RipCity! 🔥 Our first ever order from distribution finally came in, and we’ve been waiting a long time for this one! We got Dragon Shield sleeves and Magic: The Gathering Play Boosters in the shop, with more exciting things on the way.

We’re also getting closer to becoming an official Pokémon Play Store 👀

We appreciate everyone who’s been supporting us and helping make all of this possible. We’re just getting started! 🙌

It’s crazy to think RipCity may not exist today if we never pulled this card. 🔥

In 2024, we opened a Base Set pack and pulled this Charizard ourselves.

That moment was INSANE. We knew immediately it was something we would never forget.

What we didn’t know was how much that one moment would change the direction we were headed.

There was no RipCity. No storefront. No plan for any of this.

Just a love for Pokémon and a moment that pushed that passion into something so much bigger.

One thing led to another. Ripping turned into buying and selling. Buying and selling turned into shows. Shows turned into bigger ideas.

And eventually, those ideas became RipCity Trading Cards & Collectibles.

Two years later, we get to stand inside a store we built around something we genuinely love, surrounded by people who love it too.

And this Charizard is still with us.

We knew we were holding something special that day.

We just had no idea we might've been holding the beginning of RipCity. ❤️🔥

🔥 YESTERDAY WAS ABSOLUTELY INSANE AT RipCity! 🔥

We bought a TON of cards yesterday from a ton of awesome people! 😳🔥

Vintage, modern, full arts, EXs, GXs, Vs, trainers, promos and everything in between. Safe to say we’ve got A LOT of work ahead of us 😂

⚠️ Just a heads up: Everything pictured was purchased yesterday and still needs to be sorted, processed, priced, and entered into our inventory before it will be available for sale.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped in and sold or traded with us yesterday. We seriously appreciate you guys trusting RipCity with your cards and collections! ❤️

And remember…

💰 BIG OR SMALL, WE BUY IT ALL! 💰
Whether it’s a handful of cards, a binder, or an entire collection, bring it into RipCity Trading Cards & Collectibles and let us take a look

👀 A ridiculous amount of new inventory is hitting the cases soon! 🔥
