We had a guitar in yesterday that we could had made play for $30 - but another place wrecked it ($400 now repair) here’s an illustration of why you need a tech, radius tools & why not to trust all internet information ! Kris has a degree in repair & is in 11-2 today.

Pert near bluegrass time? Banjo's require set up more than almost any other instrument-luckily we take care of making sure they play great/right. The Dobro can also be set to different ways...4 slide or chords. $129 for a Banjo- that if you didn't buy it here the set up could be $50, strings $10, shipping $75 (and who knows how it will arrive).... Why gamble with your money?

Many people that play stringed instruments are unaware of all the things that go wrong on their instruments & that a routine inspection,set up, cleaning goes a long way. Think of it as a spa for your instrument. This customer paid $22 labor for a safer better looking & playing guitar.

We put out 150 new records today. Def Leppard to Imagine Dragons. A customer suggested Joel do a once a month video on his obscure music facts….. here’s one. Who thinks we should do another? 11-2 today & buy anything get 2 free records (from select box).

A 30 second video before and after a “set up” on a string instrument. We commonly get in instruments from people who have had them 60 years and didn’t understand why they weren’t in tune and played hard… be careful where you buy from…. instruments two serial numbers apart are not the same instrument... Regardless of Brand or model.
