It was a very busy, very chaotic week, with plenty of waves to navigate. Being able to have a release through art and creativity to make something beautiful is so important to me….I am excited to see how this turns out and to see who’s home it ends up in..

This is Erte Panther Lady by Franklin Mint Heirloom dolls. You won’t find her in my eBay store because she’s one going into my own collection. She came to me with a broken arm and missing earring so off to work I went! The replaced earring is actually in the photo! I added a rhinestone headband because I didn’t like how her wig sat on her head and created a huge forehead for her. This doll was originally sewn into her dress - just goes to speak to the detailing these dolls have that makes them such works of art and worth restoring and displaying.

By FAR the most involved and time consuming restoration and OOAK doll I've done so far! Irish Princess Shauna of Blarney Castle by Rhiannon Evans for Franklin Mint Heirloom Dolls from the Irish Princess Series.

A legendary Irish princess comes to life in an exquisite hand-painted porcelain collector doll by the world-renowned Celtic artist. Lavishly costumed in a green satin-like gown printed with Celtic designs, with a cape of panne velvet and gold lame. Holding a golden lantern. Wearing a tiara and jewelry inspired by the works of Rhiannon Evans. She comes with her original box, stand, accessories and COA. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

This doll arrived to me with a broken neck and leg and would have otherwise been thrown away. I have spent a total of over 100 hours painstakingly restoring this doll and added many handmade details including pearl detailing all the way around her velvet cape, beautiful sleeves and bottom of her gown. She has hundreds of "emerald," "peridot", "citrine," crystal and pearl detailing hand placed on her gown, bodice and cape. I hand-sewed her collar that has also been delicately detailed with gems and pearls to help cover the restoration to her neck. I also carefully fixed her foot with added "lace sock" detailing, pearls and gems. I added a crinoline underskirt to help display her gorgeous gown and detailing.

Here are ladies, past and present, that are either OOAK "Reimagined" dolls of mine or extensive restoration/reimagined projects. I cannot recreate OOAK dolls; some of these ladies get recycled dresses from other broken dolls (broken beyond repair! You know I love restoring!!) rare items I find thrifting, and in-general spring from my imagination based off what I have on hand. It is not physically possible for me to recreate any one of these ladies. I am always thrilled when a collector dotes on an original design....I spend so many hours detailing, cleaning, soldering, gluing, sewing. It means a lot to me!
