🚨 Looney Tunes II: An Important Announcement From The Helm 🚨
Hello family, friends, and longtime supporters of Looney Tunes II,
The time has come to announce that we are officially closing our doors at our longtime physical home at 562 Kingstown Rd, Wakefield, RI.
This shop has been an absolute legacy in Southern Rhode Island, open since 1972 and operating out of this exact address since 1993.
Our commercial lease ends on November 30th of this year. I have been actively trying to find a buyer to take over and pass the torch to since April, but ultimately, time just wasn’t on our side. As I step into a new chapter of my life, I am simply not in a position to take on another long-term 5 or 10-year lease, so I made the executive decision to finally close the physical doors.
Owning a record store was a true dream and passion of mine. I will deeply cherish every single memory made here over the last 10 years that I have owned it, as well as all the incredible history built by my good friend Peter Dante, who ran the shop for over 20 years before me.
An Important Note for Today: A private bulk sale has been successfully finalized for all remaining store inventory. As of today, October 10th, 2026, the inventory is officially sold and I can no longer sell retail stock.
Please don’t be sad! This was not an easy decision to make, but it is the right one. And most importantly: The Looney Tunes name is NOT dying. While the brick-and-mortar storefront is leaving this physical space, the brand WILL continue on with me through my mobile DJ services, our Discogs/eBay storefronts, and a few massive new multimedia additions that I will be announcing very soon!
Feel free to drop by and share a memory with me before the keys are handed over. I will be at the shop sporadically on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until the lease is up—there might even be some old promo gear, fixtures, or memorabilia I can hand out or sell as a keepsake 😜
