I know it's still hot out, but I can't wait anymore. This weekend at Whistle Stop Coffee they'll not only have regular cinnamon rolls, but pumpkin cinnamon rolls! Tender pumpkin brioche dough, filled with lots of brown sugar cinnamon, topped with a pumpkin spice maple glaze. Absolutely perfect with a cup of coffee! Make sure to check out their page for guidelines for buying these babies.

They'll also have cookies, brownies and scones available. As well as a new little fun fall treat 👀

A few little notes before we get into this week…

First — Friday’s schedule will be updated mid-week! We have an out-of-town commitment Thursday evening, and we’re not quite sure yet how that will play into Friday. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know! 🤍

We only have a few left, and these usually fly off the counter within a week.

And honestly… they don’t get much fresher. Most bags are roasted the day before they hit our counter. Fresh coffee, straight from a veteran-owned roaster, ready to come home with you. 🙌🏼

This one has been getting ALL the love lately — toasted marshmallow + brown butter.

Basically fall camping in a cup. 🏕️☕️

And before we move on from last weekend, we just have to say…

THIS is why we love what happens on our tiny little 40-square-foot space.

This weekend we watched:

🇺🇸 Two veterans from different generations strike up a conversation, exchange information, and one was then able to help another.

🎂 We celebrated the birthdays of some of our regulars.

👶🏼 We celebrated TWO baby announcements from regulars… and one of our mamas officially brought her sweet baby earth-side. 🥹

💍 We celebrated TWO regulars getting married this week!

🤍 And we witnessed more acts of kindness than we could possibly count.

It’s easy to think we’re just serving coffee.

But every once in a while, we get reminded that we’re really serving as a tiny little meeting place for a whole lot of life.

And we wouldn’t trade that for anything.

THIS IS OUR WHY!

Today a beautiful, kind, loving family approached the counter and the parents asked if there was anything they could do to clean up the area.

Their goal was to teach their kids the labor of love on taking care of their community.

They saw the incident with the chalk yesterday so not only did they clean the chalk off the displays for us, they wrote loving messages, donated their personal chalk for others and gave the patio true radiant love in the form of art.

GREAT PARENTS • AMAZING CHILDREN • LOVING COMMUNITY

As I sit here to write this, I genuinely cannot think of another community where patrons and residents show up the way they do here at WSC.

WE WON. 🥹🏆☕️

With nearly 50,000 votes and more than 2,000 nominations, Whistle Stop Coffee has officially been named a 2026 SASS Choice Award Winner!

And honestly… WOW. We’re still trying to wrap our heads around it. 🥹

A little coffee trailer, a whole lot of dreams, and a community that continues to show up for us in ways we could have never imagined. Every vote, nomination, share, visit, kind word, and cup of coffee has helped get us here.

🍂 FALL IS HERE AT WHISTLE STOP COFFEE! ☕️🚂

The September schedule is officially here, and we’re looking ahead to a whole season of fall at Whistle Stop! This isn’t just a September menu — our new fall menu is sticking around all the way through the end of November. 🎃🍁

That means… PUMPKIN IS OFFICIALLY BACK! 🎃 Starting in September and rolling straight through November, we’re embracing all things cozy, pumpkin-y and delicious. Keep your eyes peeled because we have a fun new menu coming your way very soon. 👀

And because there have been a few misconceptions floating around, we want to clarify something important: Whistle Stop Coffee is not opening a brick & mortar right now. Our focus is, first and foremost, our family. 🤍 We absolutely hope that a brick & mortar can be part of our story someday, somehow — but for now, we’re happy right where we are, serving you from our little coffee shop on wheels. 🚂

As the seasons change, we’re also looking at ways to make our patio even better! If you have bistro tables and/or chairs you’re looking to donate, we’d love to give them a new home at Whistle Stop. 🪑☕️

And finally… baby watch is officially approaching. 👶🏻👀 We still don’t have a plan, and honestly, we’re taking it one day at a time. Our schedule may shift as needed, so keep an eye on our socials for updates. 🤍 This week we have several appointments so that’s why it’s a SUPER short week!

ONE MORE THING: Our wonderful baker is on vacation this week, so there will be NO baked goods this week. Give her some well-deserved rest! 😂🤍

You are the first to tell me if my outfit is cute (or absolutely not 😂), you tell me my farts stink—even when it was YOU who tooted—and you teach me things I never knew I needed to learn. You keep me laughing with all the stories you tell in your sleep, and you make every day brighter just by being you.

🚨 THIS WEEK AT WHISTLE STOP COFFEE 🚨

We’re closing in on the last sips of our summer menu and getting SO excited to announce our FALL MENU very soon! 🍂☕️

Kids are heading back to school this week, which means routines are officially back—and I can’t wait to be part of yours. 🤎

NO BAKED GOODS THIS WEEK because our baker is a fellow mama herself! As you know, we are a family-first operation, and we wholeheartedly support our parents through every season. Sometimes that means giving a little grace… even when it means I have to wait for my scones, too! 😂

REMINDER: we have ceramic tumblers for purchase at the counter and with the first purchase you get a free drip coffee or 10% off a latte. Every-time you bring it back you get a discount!!

We can’t wait to see you all this week! Come grab a coffee, settle back into your routine, and squeeze a little more summer out of us while you can. ☀️☕️
