✨ Three Years of Marguerite ✨

Yesterday marked three years since I unlocked the door to Marguerite for the very first time.

Looking through these photographs, I'm reminded that while the shelves have filled over the years, what truly fills this little shop has always been the people.

Some of you stood with me on opening day, when the shelves were still finding their rhythm and every customer felt like a celebration. Others discovered Marguerite months or even years later. Some of you stop in every week. Others visit each time you're in Walla Walla. And so many of you have become part of this community from miles away, inviting a little piece of Marguerite into your homes through an online order.

No matter how you found us, you've become part of this story.
Over the past three years, I've had the privilege of helping you celebrate birthdays and new babies, weddings and anniversaries, holidays and housewarmings. We've gathered around workshop tables, shared recipes, exchanged books, talked about travel, gardens, flowers, and the simple rituals that make a house feel like home.

This little shop has never been just about beautiful things. It's about the people who bring them to life.

Thank you for trusting my eye. Thank you for supporting the artists, makers, farmers, and small businesses whose work fills these shelves. Thank you for bringing your friends, introducing your families, and allowing Marguerite to become part of your traditions and celebrations.

Whether you've walked through our front door once or a hundred times, followed along from across the country, shared a post with a friend, or welcomed one of our carefully wrapped packages into your home, you've helped shape what Marguerite has become.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing to spend part of your lives with us.

Here's to the next chapter, more gathering, more beautiful conversations, and many more moments shared together.

Hello Friends of Marguerite,

I’ve missed visiting with you here.

Stepping away for a little while gave me space to think about what I want this little corner to be.

Marguerite will always be filled with beautiful things, but I’ve realized what I really love sharing are the stories behind them, the places, people, meals, gardens, books, flowers, conversations, and quiet moments that inspire this shop and my life.

So you’ll still see treasures from the store, but you’ll also see more of me and Buddy…the everyday moments that make this life so joyful.

Thank you for being here. I’m looking forward to sharing this next chapter with you.
