Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm A family-owned tree farm nestled in a picturesque Appalachian valley. We invite you to come share in our tradition.

Hutton-Loyd is a Christmas tree farm owned and operated by three siblings who grew up working on it. It brings ours and other families together under open skies and in fresh air where children have the freedom to run. Our trees will never be as perfect as the artificial models from overseas or the firs that grow at high elevations, but the experience of cutting one yourself from a field in an old Appalachian valley beats a trip to the local department store any day.

Hey y’all! Does anyone remember me saying that we would bring things back once our kids got older and we had the bandwidth to manage more? Well, it’s starting! I dug the hay wagon out of storage, dusted it off, and planned a safety check. Next step - give it a glow up!! If all goes well it will be up and running for the 2026 season!!! I’m so excited to bring this back. It hasn’t been the same without it. It may still be summer but I have making this Christmas season super special for all of you on my mind!!!

Also, no promises so 🤫 BUT…I’m sincerely hoping to bring back ornament hunting and add some other fun things we haven’t tried before! Please leave any suggestions in the comments! This place is special because of YOU!

To help you find us this year, we put Christmas tree-shaped signs with arrows at last few turns to the farm. Hopefully this will help you spend less time searching for our entrance so you have more time to search for your tree 🙃
