Thank you for your interest in Frame Up Bikes. Unfortunately, we have closed permanently. This was our mission statement: We are a rider-owned bicycle shop that aims to build a better cycling community one rider at a time through top-notch bike service, no-pressure sales, cycling advocacy, organized group rides, bike customization and workshops. As many of you know, being a small business in this climate — not to mention the impact of COVID — is extremely challenging. We’ve worked hard and gone without pay many times to try to pay off all our debt through our service and sale of our remaining inventory, but with only two weeks to go, it’s not looking like we’ll come out debt-free. For this reason we have set up a GoFundMe page where all funds will go to helping us break even. The bike shop was never about getting rich for us; we knew better than that. We just felt there was a better way to sell bikes and create a unique customer experience, and we were able to accomplish these goals until the economy and other factors out of our control took us in another direction. We have set our goal at $15,000 which doesn't cover all of the shop's debt but will help a great deal. We’re hoping that our community can help us out with a few dollars or purchases, but understand times are tough for everyone. Thanks for reading this far! Join us Sunday, Oct. 1, for the FINAL FUB group ride from the shop. It has been an interesting 6 years and we would like to ride with everyone who can make it out. Pace will be super-chill but we do ask that you be somewhat comfortable with the distance. There are a couple stops along the way to regroup and bathroom break. The route is pretty accurate. Hope to see everyone there!

It’s with a heavy heart that, after six years of serving this wonderful community, we must announce that Frame Up Bikes will be closing its doors permanently at the end of September.

As we reflect on the journey we've taken together, we can't help but feel gratitude and pride. This shop has been more than just a place of business; it has been a hub for passionate cyclists like yourselves, who have shared not only a love for biking but also a strong sense of camaraderie.

The decision to close our shop wasn't an easy one, and as you can imagine, there were multiple factors at play, including COVID and the current economy.

As we begin the process of closing down, we will continue our top-rated service through mid-September. We really hope you'll stop by to not only say goodbye but also to help support us this one last time by bringing in all your bikes and perhaps picking up an item or two. We’re also planning a special farewell event at the shop, so stay tuned for more information.

While our bike shop may close its doors, the friendships that have been forged here will endure. We hope you’ll all stay in touch with us and with each other, and keep the community alive.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each one of you who has stepped through our doors, shared your stories, and supported us throughout this journey. Without you, none of this would have been possible. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. It has been an honor to serve you.
