DNJ started in 2008 with an idea. After building transmissions his whole life, 3 generations deep, David had an idea about the governor pressure solenoids in Dodge transmissions. After many months of drawing, designing, having models made at a local machining shop, seeing how it fit and worked and making changes to make it perfect before releasing to the public, we knew making transmission parts wasn't easy. Its a hard route to go from an idea to a drawing on paper to a finished working model in hand. The DCF1 was that part.
Years later he saw a problem with the Dodge 68RFE valve body warping and decided a billet channel plate could resolve most, if not all the issues. He had no clue what was about to happen. DNJ was not prepared for the publics reaction and we failed by not being able to keep up with sales. That was our DCF2 & DCF2-19 channel plates. Now here we are with our DJAK 10L1000 valve bodies. We have learned from past mistakes. After designing, finding issues, redesigning, testing for over a year, before releasing to the public. Yes there was a few small issues in the beginning, ask any customer, we stand behind our parts 1000% if theres an issue, return it and we will send you a new part or refund your money for the part. We are proud to put our name on our DNJ parts. Our family has endured alot over the last 18 years since this company was started. At the end of the day, we know it all starts with an idea. Having those you call friends and family that support you along the way, that is what has kept us going. The customers who call and place orders,the friends who say hey is there anything I can do. They get it. They know the efforts, the hours of sleep lost, the ball games missed, the dinners at work instead of at home.
An idea has a long road to travel before its ready for the public. We know. If you have an idea, reach out to us. DNJ is a real small town, small family owned and ran business. Owners are born and raised in Missouri, we are proud to put a Made in USA sticker on ALL our products. We make real American made products, out of real American made materials, in real American made machines, with a real American machinest, who also happens to be a real Cad/Cam design guy as well.
