It isn't very often that I come across an item that I have never seen before. It is marked Made in USA on bottom. The top is marked Patd. Jany. 11th 1898. It is only 2 1/4" wide. I would appreciate your help. I'm curious.

It’s that time again! It’s our Vendor of the week. This is Jan Catterall. Jan is originally from Charleston, but calls Walterboro her home now. She says her favorite thing about having a booth is showing off her creative side. Jan is a horsewoman, grandmother of 3 granddaughters, and 2 great granddaughters. She loves to go thrift shopping and “junking”. Jan is upstairs in booth 6163. She has some awesome things at great prices. Come shop and take a look😊.
