*Haehn Florist was established by Louis & Vera Haehn in 1957 at
802 W. Auglaize St.
*In 1959, they purchased additional six acres of land adjoining the
current land on Water St. to grow the nursery stock.
*In 1961, they built a greenhouse to add flowers, vegetable plants,
lawn food, and other lines to the flower shop at 802 W. Auglaize St.
*In 1965, they built a plastic house to hold and grow plants at
802 W. Auglaize St.
*In May 1971, they opened a store at 123 W Auglaize St.
*In June 1978, Michael Haehn purchased the store from his parents
and moved to 907 Defiance Grandview Plaza to expand store
merchandise.
*In March 1997, we built 2 plastic houses and our large floral shop
at 410 Hamilton Rd and closed the 802 W Auglaize location.
