~ A Long Way from Yesterday ~

There was a time when people didn't worry about the little things in life. In the old days, most people followed the ways of the free spirit of the animals, and of nature itself. Earth was forever busy creating food and shelter for all of her children... you, me, and our animal relatives. It was always good to give thanks for all that was received.

Today, it is difficult to backtrack ourselves into what use to be. It would be nice but surely impractical - because of influences we don't control. We can always remember the good things of the past as we make our own way forward, towards whatever lies ahead tomorrow.

Whether we accept it or not, life is really all about change. Some of us are stubborn and we choose to hide behind yesterday.

I enjoy the times when I put one of my tipis. I can sit by the fire thinking of the old ways. I then go to sleep knowing I will have good dreams.

All of you are unique and special. Thank you for being my friends.

Charles
