Why are people spending time at Our Yarn Studio?

We have plush yarn, "fancy" yarn, hand-dyed local yarn, acrylic yarn, cotton yarn, a coffee shop, and comfy chairs - and that's just the start of what you'll find here! We carry embroidery, needlepoint, weaving and spinning supplies too.

More than the products we offer is the community you'll find. A group of people who want a place to hang out, to meet other creative types, and to make friends. This community is made up of people with big hearts, funny stories, and an outrageous spirit of inclusion. Are all of the chairs full? Pull up a bar stool! Sit on a coffee table! We'll make room!

Visit just once and you'll find out why we are growing so quickly- because people just like you came in and realized how special this community is.

Project started Saturday the 12th at 9 PM and completed Tuesday the 15th at 11:45 PM. Just in time for her to wear it to school Wednesday!

If you are just finding us this is Juniper Moon's Cumulus Cotton in the color Lily Lollipop and we used the Comeback pattern by Beata Jezek as our plan. We made some modifications to make it work:
- Size 11 needles for the body, size 10.5 for the rib
- worked the pattern size large to get a child's 10/12 using worsted weight cotton
- Added rib to the arms to match her preference

Sometimes it's fun to work against a deadline to see what you are capable of! I'm so happy this worked out and that y'all cheered me on along the way!
