Before you call for dryer repair, check this FIRST.

Sometimes a dryer that suddenly won't start—or isn't heating—doesn't have a dryer problem at all.

Check the breaker. And remember: electric dryers typically use a **double-pole breaker**, so a partially tripped breaker can cause some confusing symptoms.

Reset it properly by switching it fully OFF, then back ON.

This amount of ice is a symptom that something isn’t operating correctly.

Heavy frost/ice can interfere with airflow and eventually create cooling problems. Chipping away what you can see doesn’t tell you why it happened in the first place.

A bad fan isn't always a bad fan... until you prove it.

In this refrigerator, we tested the evaporator fan motor and confirmed it was receiving a full 120 volts. When the proper voltage is present but the motor still won't run, the diagnosis becomes much clearer.
That's why testing always comes before replacing parts.

That dark grease isn't supposed to be there. It's leaking from a failed rear tub bearing, and by the time it reaches this point, the repair often requires major components.

Could we repair it? Yes.
Should we? Not always.

Water leaking from the front of your washer?
