People have been asking for this one. It’s the legendary Pioneer SX-1080 monster receiver from the late 1970s. One of the most beautiful receivers that Pioneer ever made. At 120 watts per channel, it would make the ultimate centerpiece for your living room stereo. It’s been throughly gone thru and new LEDs installed. It comes with our standard 14 day warranty. These only come around once in a while, especially in this condition! It’s time to stop considering and just grab it before someone else does! Specs are in the comments below.

New at JB’s is this vintage VPI HW-19 Junior Turntable from the early 1980s. VPI Industries makes audiophile grade turntables right here in the USA. It has a Audioquest tonearm and a classic Shure V-13 Type IV cartridge. I just installed a new belt and stylus. This is a very solid turntable that sounds great! Come give it a spin.

Pioneer CT-F8282 from 1976. I don’t think I’ve ever put more hours into repairing a cassette deck than I did into this beauty. Has new belts and new idler tires. It works perfectly and sounds great! Come give it a try.

McIntosh was formed in 1949 in Binghamton, New York and is widely considered as the gold standard for audiophile home stereo systems. It is also famous for being the main sound system used at Woodstock because it was the only one reliable enough to handle the brutal conditions of the outdoor festival. It performed flawlessly while the other systems failed or hummed.

In 1974, 48 McIntosh MC2300 amplifiers and 586 speakers made up the Grateful Dead’s infamous “Wall of Sound”. The McIntosh amps produced 28,000 watts of continuous power.

McIntosh gear never looses its value as long as you take care of it. I’ve got some really clean McIntosh gear for sale now at JB’s. Come check it out. It is definitely “lifetime” stereo gear.
