I wanted to take a moment to be completely transparent with everyone because I’ve had quite a few people ask about flowers at Wired Rooster/Modern Methods lately. 🤍
There is absolutely no falling out, no bad blood, and no negative reason behind me not currently selling there. The simple truth is… I am BUSY. And I am incredibly, incredibly lucky to be able to say that.
Between weddings, bridal showers, homecomings, markets, orders, and everything else that comes with running a growing flower business, my weekends have been completely packed. On top of that, I’m also a full-time stay-at-home mom, so I’m constantly trying to balance being present for my family while also giving August Blooms the time and attention it deserves.
Right now, I’m at a point where I simply cannot keep up with everything — and rather than overextend myself and become inconsistent, I’m trying to be intentional about where I commit my time and energy. ❤️
For the time being, Pick Me Up Coffee Co. is the one cooler location I’m able to consistently keep stocked, and I’m so grateful for them and for everyone who continues to stop in and support my flowers there! 🌷☕️
I also know so many of you have been asking about the flower cart at my house! I promise I haven’t forgotten about it. 😂 I genuinely just have not had the time to get it going consistently. Some days I barely have enough time to wrap the orders I already have!
BUT — if you need flowers, I’m always taking orders for porch pickup! 🌸 If you reach out and I have the availability, I am more than happy to put something together for you, even on short notice when I can.
This season has been everything I hoped August Blooms could become, and I am SO grateful.
I dreamed of being this busy, dreamed of people trusting me with their weddings, homecomings, celebrations and everyday flowers — and now I’m learning how to navigate what that actually looks like while still being a mom and having a life outside of the business.
So if you’ve noticed a few changes lately, please know it’s simply me trying to find that work-life balance and make sure I can continue showing up for the commitments I’ve already made.
Thank you for being patient with me, supporting me, ordering from me, recommending me, sharing my posts, and continuing to let this little flower business grow. 🌸
I am so excited for what’s ahead for August Blooms Flower Co. — this is exactly what I wanted, and I’m just figuring out how to grow it in a way that works for my family, too. 🤍🌿
