Because of FB and Instagram account messes, and AI ad hacks, we are using the time this summer to start new accounts from scratch. This includes the bookstore and personal accounts. We don’t know what ripple effects this will have, but we hope to not lose contact with you. If you see a friend request from the bookstore please don’t be alarmed. Gunzil & Bowser Children’s Bookstore story time every Tuesday at 4:15pm on FM 100.3. Woods reads different stories each week for 30 minutes inter dispersed with music. Make sure you stay for the whole show. If you’re unable to listen live, the show is posted on YouTube later in the day.

Belated, but heartfelt thank you to Ozark Viking Meadery , Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce and all the Sip and Stroll participants who came by the store Saturday. We really appreciated your enthusiasm and patronage in such a fun community event. Ozark Viking was a hoot to have in the house. It may seem a little strange to have liquor in a children’s bookstore, but who can argue with Vikings as “Leif the Lucky” is one of the store owner’s favorite books.
