Go give Old Town business some extra love this weekend! So many great places on/off Main Street. There’s parking in lots off Lee and Horner and side streets. And be kind and be patient. I’ve also seen construction crew let cars up needing curb pick up/drop off.

While the construction is happening on Main Street in Love Old Town Warrenton, we wanted to remind you of how important it is to support our local small businesses ❤️ Although there is a light at the end of the tunnel and Main Street will look great when it’s all said and done, times like these can be very disruptive and detrimental to these businesses. Give yourself some extra time and make that extra effort to and over the next 2 weeks especially 🙌🏻🦊❤️ Here is a map of the parking lots in Old Town Warrenton. They may not be as convenient as street parking but there are always spots and your merchant community will thank you!

Important Main Street info for as VDOT completes the sidewalk/street improvements.

8/19 UPDATE: Main Street between Fourth and Fifth Street has been reopened with the detour now starting at Fourth Street.

‼ TRAFFIC ALERT: Main Street Project Construction

🚧Main Street from Court Street to Fifth Street and the top of the side streets will be closed Monday, August 10th - Friday, August 21st for construction on the crosswalks. As intersections are complete, that portion of the road will reopen.
📍You will be able to exit Culpeper Street by turning left onto Main Street toward Alexandria Pike.
📍To enter the parking lots behind Main Street on the south side, you must enter from South Fifth Street and then exit onto East Lee Street from South Second, Third, or Fourth Streets.

It’s almost time! Waldo will be hiding in 30 Old Town Warrenton businesses from July 1st-31st and he needs you to find him! Want to play along? Pop by The Open Book starting July 1 to pick up your passport and then starting searching! Prizes if you find at least 10 and if you find more than 20 you will be entered in the raffle!

SAVE THE WARRENTON SKATE PARK

Warrenton deserves better.

Our local skate park isn’t just cracked concrete and worn ramps. It’s where kids learn confidence, where friendships are built, and where people find something positive to be part of. Right now, it’s falling apart and the plan to fix it is on the chopping block.

Here’s the truth

The funding to repair and upgrade the Warrenton Skate Park was already approved and budgeted. Now local politicians are trying to block it to push their own agendas.

That’s not right.

Skateboarding isn’t some side thing anymore. It’s an Olympic sport. More importantly, it’s a lifeline for a lot of people. Not every kid fits into traditional sports. The skate park gives them a place to belong. It teaches resilience. You fall, you get back up, you keep going.

We need this park.

If you live in Fauquier County, step up:
• Sign the Google form (link in bio)
• Show up to the town council meeting on May 12th
• Speak up for the skate community

This isn’t just about skating. It’s about giving people a safe, positive place to grow.
