So I have been sitting on this for a few weeks now and have finally made a tough decision. Unfortunately, I will be canceling Coney Con for 2026. This was not an easy decision to make and in fact I have made myself sick with nerves about this, even as I type this cause I don't want to let people down. There are many factors that have went into this decision and I have weighed them all. The first is I have a lot of personal things going on in my life right now. Nothing bad, but things that require a much larger amount of my time and attention. Things such as the economy, I also have become a vendor as a side hobby and I see from shows I have been too, even larger ones where I am not a vendor that events have been very hit and miss and I do not want to put my vendor friends through that. There are other items too but I won't bother you with those details.
I plan to bring Coney Con back in 2027 and I am actually considering moving it to maybe the armory or something like that to have more space, indoors, and we can have it more like a regular Comic Con, but that is up for discussion with my Coney Council.
Thank you to EVERYONE that has helped with Coney Con so far there are to many to tag bit you know who you are. This is not the end. Its more of a Rachel and Ross situation and taking a break. So during this time go to other cons, go to other events, support local small businesses and vendors. Come by and say hi to me and my crew at Sonic or maybe Ill see you at an event when I'm a vendor.
