Nana's thought of the day!

Something I think about often is "how do our shoppers look for Fiesta?". I have often grouped all the same colors by shelf, then changed to all same item in all the colors per shelf. I think that the success of organization depends on whether its a new collector or someone who is trying to finish out a dish set or collection.

I currently have all the dinner plates on the bottom shelf. My thought at the time was that "they are plates and shoppers won't mind bending for them!" LOL Scientific, right?

Do you prefer full shelves or less full? I always try to get it all out there so my shoppers have choices. Am I wrong? Should we have 8 of one plate instead of 30 of one plate? Will you take the time to go through a stack of plates until you find the glaze, condition that you like or if a plate in so-so condition is on top do you walk away?

Did you know that Warsaw Antique Mall has expanded? This past Thursday we had a ribbon cutting ceremony with the whole gang there to celebrate with our fabulous owner.

I have to say that the community has responded and yesterday looked like Black Friday shopping. We worked hard and fast all day long to help everyone check out their treasures.

How far will we go to make sure you have the Fiesta you deserve? Marcie and I drove 800 miles yesterday and plan to load up this estate today. Gulp! This is truly stepping out in faith!
