Today we received the news of Peter Cullen passing away. He was the voice of Optimus Prime. For many of us he was our childhood hero. The one who we looked up to. Optimus’ death in the original Transformers movie was tragic and unexpected to children of the 80s and this news kind of feels like that moment all over again.

I was torn between which quote to use so I used them both.

"Do not lament my absence, for in my spark, I know that this is not the end, but merely a new beginning. Simply put, another transformation." - Optimus Prime
