More shovel head blades cut out and straightened out in the forge. Loads of grinding to do, then heat treat and temper....

Couple coats of Shaker pine oil based stain on things. Really enjoying the contrast it brings. Still have to clean up a little excess epoxy, then finish sharpening. Also featuring a forged from spring steel blade with antler handle. Lots to do on that.

Solid progress on the friction folder. Blade is shovel cut and mildly forged to shape. Oak scales.
