Sneak peek! Our theme for That's So Vintage is “The Collected Interior,” and we’re breaking down getting there to some first principles: glow, natural materials, strong color/shape, and something personal—which can be as small and inexpensive as a collected of vintage matches. These foundations make for stunning spaces and we can’t wait to bring you JUST THE THINGS to make your space sing. See you at The Square DC 10/24-10/25–tix at link in bio!

Join us on October 24 + 25 for That’s So Vintage (That's So Vintage), the DMV region’s top vintage market. For this market, we’re focused on something of a first principle for us: the COLLECTED INTERIOR.

The spaces we’re most attracted to rarely look like they were put together all at once.

Instead, they accumulate: a piece inherited from someone you love, something you picked up on a trip, a material you keep coming back to, that slightly strange object you couldn’t leave behind. Over time, these things begin to tell a story, and the room starts to feel less “decorated” and more LIVED.

Watch this space over the next month or so. We’ll be sharing more about collections and collecting, and we’ll go deeper on four of the elements we think make a space feel particularly cool and collected: a gentle glow, natural materials, unexpected color and geometry, and something personal (or just a little weird).

These four foundational principles will inspire the collection of vintage pieces we’ll bring to That’s So Vintage for YOU to collect.

The most interesting rooms aren’t about having the “right” things. They’re about having YOUR RIGHT things. Rare Form exists to help you along in identifying them.

Excited to share custom sourcing work with interior design shop Callie & Co. LLC for a residential project here in the Washington, DC region. The couple—professionals of a toddler who’d moved just outside of the city proper—wanted moody, earthy spaces and plenty of grownup zones for relaxing and unwinding. We came to bring in pieces for the library….and stayed to help bring the living room, bar, and dining room to life. We might just move in!

We’re back 📣 And on Friday, April 17 from 5-9PM, we’re partnering with interior designer Nicole Lanteri (Nicole Lanteri Design) and longtime creative friends Nancy Miyahira Jennifer Barger for a one-night-only Spring Salon at the Arlington 1950s ranch Nicole recently designed as a showroom-meets-clubhouse space.

Inspired by the home’s colorful midcentury aesthetic, we’re bringing vintage finds perfect for unfussy entertaining and adding designy specialness to your home. Also on tap: custom cocktails served in vintage Rare Form glassware.

Bonus: We will be bringing pieces from our personal wardrobes to sell alongside the other creatives.

It’s going to feel like a house party, but with shopping. 👀
