𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗮
There’s always a reason to celebrate, and today we’re enjoying a 100% Riesling, organic farmed and hand harvested in Slovenia by young w**emaker **es Wild yeast fermented and aged in clay amphora. The juice and skins ferment and age for 200+ days in amphora, afterwards the w**e is bottled unfiltered with no added sulfites. It’s slightly orange in color with some cloudiness. It’s very easy to drink with light and well integrated tannins, excellent acidity and tons of flavor. A special w**e by any measure.

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒖 𝑳’𝑬𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒕 ‘𝑬𝒅𝒆𝒏’ 𝑩𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒙 𝑹𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒆
The Laurent family has been sharing their passion for w**e for decades, through the cuvées of Château l’Escart, produced from their one piece of 37ha of vineyards in Saint-. Gérard and his team know that greatness in w**e depends essentially on the greatness of the grapes. This is why they take really good care of the vineyards, in order for the vines to naturally resist parasites with as little treatment as possible. They know how important it is to respect the land that doesn’t belong to them. Thus, each harvest keeps the full expression and richness of the terroir. As they say at Chateau l’Escart: “Making great quality w**es and respecting the land that we are borrowing from our children”. It is precisely for this reason, and their strong relationship to their terroir, that they decided to convert the vineyards to biodynamic farming. This philosophy continues in the cellar, where only indigenous yeasts is used in the fermentation.

Made from 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec from hand harvested 35 to 45-year old vines.

Claudia Ferrero and daughter Pepita oversee Podere Pascena, a historic and intimate estate located in the southwestern corner of Montalcino, bordered by the renowned Argiano and Banfi’s prestigious Riserva vineyard, Poggio all’Oro.

Only about 600 cases are produced annually. The w**e is aged for two years in two French Allier oak casks—21 hl and 30 hl—followed by an additional two years of bottle aging prior to release. An excellent Brunello di Montalcino by any measure, leans more modern in style with more fruit forward style.

Harvested by hand with a yield of 1kg per vine, the w**e underwent 1 month skin-contact fermentation, followed by 4 months ageing on lees. This unfiltered and unfined w**e is a true gem.

Welcome to the new year! It's time for a glass of w**e and some reflection. As we ring in this occasion, this year was particular for us. We reconnected with you under the roof of VinChase and started some new adventures worth mentioning. Our natural, organic, unfiltered w**e selection could bring more good to nature and the fragile world around us. B stands for Bažalík w**ery. The owner, Michal, is a fascinating man who is passionate about making something from nothing, entirely from scratch. This particular w**e has undergone maceration and fermentation on the skins for three weeks, resulting in an excellent orange w**e with a strong flavor that is not overpowering. The blend of Silván + Veltlín variety creates a medium-bodied w**e with fruit, leather, and nuttiness notes. The minerality and nutty tones are especially interesting, and the overall taste is pleasantly balanced. This is a beautiful w**e to enjoy with friends on a special occasion. Cheers!
