Thank you so, so much to everyone who came out yesterday for the first of several events this year to celebrate the life and legacy of David Confer. Bluejacket released a delicious Kolsch and we held a Tour de Bike Lane over by the US Department of Transportation before heading around the block to the brewery to meet up with David’s mom and other friends. Extra special thanks to Erik Bergman and the Bluejacket team for everything, and to our Ward 6 neighbor & Councilmember Charles Allen for coming out and supporting us.

Hi friends,
After some thinking, I have decided to make David’s bench available to friends by appointment only. I will charge a fee for a 2 hour window.
I will also keep tubes in stock and any other small stuff that y’all used to pick up from him.
One person at a time, and David’s COVID-19 protocols are in place. Masks, gloves, disinfecting bikes & shoes.
I want his shop to be available as a community resource- any feedback is appreciated.
