I started my business because I wanted to share my love of sewing and love of Hebrew with the community. I love looking at fabrics and figuring out what I can make with them. Initially, I was very conservative about my combination of fabrics. A friend of mine in Vancouver taught me to “think outside the box” and mix fabrics in a more daring way. Now, I get great satisfaction mixing bright colors a

nd patterns as I produce my products. I have also expanded my work to personalizing in English and making quilts. I have enjoyed making baby quilts for family and friends and tallitot (prayer shawls) for bar and bat mitzvah gifts. I love working with clients to choose patterns and fabrics for their projects. In addition to the products that I make regularly, I am happy to work on special commissioned orders. One interesting order I had was for a placemat for a dog, which I had to make waterproof. Now that I am a grandmother, I am beginning to make fabric toys for children
