The vision for the Ekwede 3s was to create an any day, anywhere sneaker you can wear in every season.
Black and grey so they go with almost anything. Orange for that pop in the fall or spring. Teal green for the razzle dazzle. Leather panels and a shape that can go from sweats to flared jeans or wide-leg pants.
Even the reflective details were intentional — because the small details matter.
I took inspiration from some of the sneakers I’ve always loved, like the Wave Runner, but made the vision completely Ekwede.
To see something that started as an idea become a shoe people actually wear is still crazy to me.
One day, the people with the Ekwede 3s will be able to say they were there from the beginning.
