An Israeli soldier from a special unit fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon reached out and asked me for help.

I posted one video, then sent a message to the more than 30,000 people who receive my daily Israel newsletter.

In the first hour, we passed the original $1,000 goal. By the end of the week, the total reached about $15,000.

The soldier and his entire unit stood together to record a thank-you video for the Iron Dome Coffee community. Thousands of people came together for Israeli soldiers they had never met.

It was unbelievable.

We launched Iron Dome Coffee about a year ago. Since then, we’ve sold more than 1 million cups, and over 2,500 people now receive our coffee every month.

18% of our profits are donated to organizations supporting Israeli soldiers, veterans, and first responders.

Macklemore got dropped from Ed Sheeran’s lineup, and now he’s announced a “Free Palestine Tour.” Three European shows, with more dates promised.

The Irish Times reports that the proceeds will go to organizations supporting Palestinians. That doesn’t put his politics beyond criticism.

In 2024, he said “F*ck America” at a Seattle benefit. Pitchfork reported that he later called it a “slip up.” I’m supposed to take moral guidance from this guy?

I find his rhetoric despicable. October 7 happened, Hamas murdered civilians and took hostages, and those families’ pain doesn’t become less important because a celebrity has chosen a cause.

Israel’s right to exist doesn’t depend on Macklemore’s approval. I’ll keep standing with Israel, loudly and publicly. 🇮🇱

The New York Times actually published this sentence:

“But Israelis still largely view themselves as the victims of Oct. 7.”

How does that make it through an editor?

People were murdered, families were taken hostage, and survivors have to live with what happened for the rest of their lives. Their victimhood shouldn’t need defending to a newspaper.

Two days later, the Times removed the sentence, citing an “editing error.” It said it meant to describe Israelis’ views of their government’s military response.

I’m glad they corrected it. I still think the original wording was disgusting, and removing it doesn’t answer how it got published.

🔁 Repost this so people see the sentence AND the correction.

Belev Echad, Heroes to Heroes, Magen David Adom, and Friends of the IDF have all partnered with Iron Dome Coffee to caffeinate for a cause.

Belev Echad in particular has done incredibly important work rehabilitating Israel’s wounded soldiers. Surgeries. Prosthetics. PTSD treatment. The things that give a soldier his life back after he gave everything defending it.

And you can support that work every single morning when you drink Iron Dome Coffee. 18% of our profits go to these organizations.

We made it easy to support our heroes from over 6,000 miles away. All you have to do is drink delicious coffee.

Macklemore got DROPPED, and I’m glad the venues finally said no. 🇮🇱

According to Rolling Stone, the tour promoter removed him from eight remaining appearances after venues refused to host him.

Buying an Ed Sheeran ticket shouldn’t mean sitting through an opening act’s accusations against Israel. Jewish fans had every right to object, and I’m glad they did.

Having a microphone doesn’t make your argument right, and being famous doesn’t mean everyone has to quietly accept it.

We’re allowed to speak up for Israel, too. We’re going to keep doing it.

🔁 Repost if you’re glad somebody drew the line.

What the hell was Mamdani thinking?

At a ceremony honoring 9/11 victims, Mamdani had the signing pen passed to Ramzi Kassem, his chief counsel, who previously represented al-Qaeda operative Ahmed al-Darbi.

Are you serious?!

City Hall says his team drafted the orders. Fine. Thank your legal team at the office.

At a ceremony remembering the people murdered on September 11, the families and first responders should be the priority. New York’s mayor should understand why this gesture would upset people without needing someone to explain it afterward.

New York deserves better. Repost if you agree. 🔁

WE JUST GOT A VIDEO FROM DAEL’S UNIT.

If you’re new here: Dael is a soldier I connected with over the summer.

His unit deployed to Lebanon for 100 days, and this community rallied behind them. We set a $5,000 fundraiser goal and blew past it overnight. It’s over $10,000 now.

And today, from inside the deployment, they sent this.

In their words: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the warmth, the support, the hug from the other side of the world. The feeling that we are not alone, that someone is standing with us, gives us strength, morale, and energy to keep going. You are partners on our path. Your support is the fuel that pushes us forward.

Then, at the end, the three words we all know. Am Yisrael Chai.

I have goosebumps. Soldiers in the middle of a war zone took a minute to thank people they’ve never met. That’s you. That’s what this community does.

The fundraiser is still open, and every dollar reaches them. Link in bio.
