Music on the Hill Music on the Hill is Capitol Hill's source for all things music! Their retail store rents and sells instruments, sheet music and assessories.

They also have the best music teachers in DC, providing private and group lessons 7 days a week Music on the Hill's retail store sells guitars, ukuleles, percussion instruments as well as a full range of accessories for all string, percussion and band/orchestra instruments. Our sheet music selection offers method books and repertoire for all instruments including piano and guitar. Music on the Hil

l also offers private and group lessons for students ages 3-adult in piano, guitar, bass, violin, voice, clarinet, flute, trumpet, saxophone and percussion. Music on the Hill also offers rental instruments in guitar, woodwinds, brass and strings.

Louis is a music instructor and performing artist with over five years of experience teaching students ages 5 to 30, from beginner through advanced levels. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music and is an active vocalist and guitarist with extensive live and studio experience across genres including rock, R&B, soul, funk, jazz, pop, and classical.

Louis’s teaching approach is student-centered and adaptable, emphasizing strong fundamentals, creativity, and musical confidence. He teaches voice, guitar, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, and piano, and strives to create a supportive, engaging lesson environment tailored to each student’s goals and interests.
