The man that started this foundation, Devin Holt, has a 7 year old daughter with Type 1 Diabetes. He has dedicated his life to helping find a cure. He has been informing the world of a promising new drug, Tegoprubart, that paired with islet cell transplants has effectively cured 12 people from Type 1 diabetes without the common devestating side effects of the drug that has been being used. Please donate, we actually have hope and not many people are hearing about it. If you are tired of donating to charities and having only a small portion of your money go to the actual research, then donate to Crushing T1 Diabetes. He has the connections but needs the funding to get this new protocol on a fast track and he has already greased the wheels. We shouldn’t have to fight this much red tape to save lives, but unfortunately that is how the system is. Crushing T1 is looking for people and businesses that can donate money, help with merchandise and other materials to help spread the word, hold fundraisers, etc… If you can’t donate and don’t have time or resources to volunteer, please at least help his foundation reach others that can.
