This exactly how we feel about Data Centers in AK --- who in their right mind would want a Data Center in Houston , Deadhorse , Glenallen and all over Prudoe Bay ?

Well , we went to the fair , got some food , it was double the price of what it should have been ,kids rode all the rides , for the adults or even the large amount of seniors there was literally no seating set up almost anywhere , nowhere to sit and eat or get out of the rain .

there was NOTHING for little kids to do at the fair outside of the rides , the animals are cool but only one part of the event - the drone show at 11pm was after everyone was wet , tired and exhausted ( and broke lol) and as everyone was leaving .

Alarming it was to also see that dozens and dozens of Vendors from out of state ?? we thought we were at the Alaska State Fair - and encountered maybe a hundred vendors who were from Texas , Louisiana , India , New York , Canada , California etc - this was def a low point as many of the out of state people sell mostly junk items , stickers , hats , cheap items made in china that have no place here ...

So while we love seeing our friends and family there and especially the vendors we know and meeting new Alaskan ones - the fair takes in $13,000,000 in 13 days and was and remains to be very poorly operated ..

Maybe Goldilocks can do some events this year that rival the fair ,,, imagine a local fair - wow what an idea ,,, :-)
