Recognizing Memorial Day Today.
I have the privilege of soundind TAPS at 4 different events today.
8am at the Elks Lodge in Palmer, Alasķa
11am at the Wasilla Cemetary. Alaska
1pm at the Veterans Wall of Honor in Wasilla, Alaska.
3pm at Amvets Post 11 in Wasilla, Alaska.
TAPS ACROSS AMERICA is a National Event that happens in each timezone at 3pm. This year, Ill be doing the 24 note bugle call at Amvets Post 9. Please come join us at the post on Memorial Day to honor all the men and women who sacrificed everything to keep our country free.

Just finished an honor guard ceremony on JBER. -4° F. I played the Echo to an electronic bugle. His bugle wasnt bothered with the weather. And he never misses a note. By the second note I knew it was going to be fun matching pitch.
Its always an adventure.

TUBACHRISTMAS IN WASILLA!

This is the last TubaChristmas of the year in the Valley.
CHRISTMAS DAY at the FRIENDSHIP DINNER in the MENARD CENTER. CONCERT at 11:00am when the doors open. There will be entertainment during the entire event. The dinner is for everyone in the Valley. Come hear TUBACHRISTMAS at 11. Then grab a great meal and say hello to all the fine folks at the FRIENDSHIP DINNER.

Registration to play TUBACHRISTMAS is at 10 am. Fees are covered by MATANUSKA MUSIC. We have the 2025 TubaChristmas pin, so come play some Christmas Carols with us. BRING A MUSIC STAND! We hope to see you at the FRIENDSHIP DINNER and participate in TUBACHRISTMAS 2025!
