This is what inspired the piece I have been working on.
We were walking through Mijas Pueblo when I stopped in front of a door. It was old, heavy, wooden, and covered in hand-hammered nail heads. Flowers were spilling over the wall above it. The whole thing felt like a threshold between one world and another.
I stood there longer than I should have. Brian waited. He knows me.
I came home and went straight to my studio.
The piece I made from that moment is part of something bigger. A whole collection, actually. Born from a trip we waited 25 years to take.

I have been quiet here for a while.
This spring, my husband and I finally took the honeymoon we never got to have. We spent a week in Andalusia, wandering white villages perched on hillsides, eating slowly, watching sparrows dart between terracotta rooftops, and letting ourselves just... be.
I came home changed in the quietest way. And I came home with a collection.
More on that very soon. For now, I just wanted to say hello again. I missed this little corner.

Spring feels different this year.

Quieter. More intentional. Like I’m noticing the small shifts instead of rushing past them.

These Spring Bloom Egg Candles came from that feeling. Hand-poured concrete eggs in soft pinks, greens, whites, and yellows. Each one painted, sealed, and filled with soy wax and a fresh floral scent that feels like opening a window after a long winter.
