How did I forget to show you these?!
Breathtaking Blues by 3 Sisters for Moda arrived a few weeks ago, and somehow I haven’t given them their proper introduction!

This collection is exactly what the name promises—breathtaking. Beautiful shades of blue, soft creams, delicate florals, scrolling vines, and that timeless vintage feel that 3 Sisters does so well.

I especially love how the deeper navy plays with those soft, dusty blue tones. There are so many possibilities here for a quilt that feels classic, elegant, and cozy all at once.

September Block of the Month is HERE! Okay… I might be a little obsessed with this one.

September’s block is full of movement, wonky angles, and just the right amount of “wait… how does that go together?” I absolutely love how it turned out, especially in these bold pink florals!

Donna’s Pick of the Week... another week, another fabric I’m in love with. Shocking, I know.

But look at this one! I love how simple and graphic it feels. The black and white keeps it classic, while those oversized flowers and long stems give it such a fun, modern personality.

And I think this could be one of those incredibly useful fabrics. It’s interesting enough to be a focal fabric, but the neutral color palette means you could pair it with just about any pop of color and completely change the look.

I’m already imagining it with bright pink… or turquoise… or maybe a really great chartreuse.

See? This is how another quilt starts.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready, and we seriously cannot wait to see everyone in Madison!

We’ll be bringing lots of fabric, inspiration, and some fun things we’ve been working on just for the show. If you’re headed to Madison, make sure you stop by Booth 204 and say hi—we LOVE getting to see familiar faces away from the shop!

One important shop note: Creative Spaces Studio will be CLOSED Thursday, September 10, so our whole team can head to Madison and enjoy the show together. We’ll be back open for regular hours on Friday and Saturday, so you can still shop with us in Waterford while we’re at the show!

This beautiful new pattern just arrived in the shop, and it feels like the perfect project as we start thinking about fall sewing!

Tapestry of Color by Sandy Gervais of Pieces From My Heart combines repeating blocks with lots of opportunities to play with color. We love the warm oranges, golds, browns, and greens shown on the cover—but imagine how different this would look in YOUR favorite palette!

It has that wonderful mix of traditional and interesting that makes you want to stop and look at all the little details. And those crisscrossed centers add such a fun touch!
