Future dye. It’s been too hot to bring alpacas to the shop but the dyers garden is loving this hot weather! This is dyers coreopsis which will actually dye several colors depending on the treatment used. We are picking the blooms and drying for future use. Cutting the blooms will encourage more production!

No alpacas today (Too hot, but they will be here all weekend when it’s a bit cooler) but we received a huge pile of new alpaca yarns from Susan at Earth, Wind and Fleece. Some is all alpaca, some luxury blends. Natural colors, nice plush feel and abundant skeins.
