The Crossroads Mall site has entered its next phase, with the mall building now removed. While many memories were made here, we’re excited to continue moving the redevelopment forward. Next up: removing the remaining slabs and footings, followed by parking lot demolition as we prepare the site for its future transformation. 🚧✨

Abatement work at Crossroads Mall is now complete, and crews are continuing demolition of the building’s footings and slab. The remaining structure is expected to be removed in the coming weeks as site preparation continues for the property’s next chapter!

Abatement work is scheduled to be complete by the end of next week! With demolition of the remaining structure to follow shortly after 🚧 🚜

In photos 1 and 2 you are looking at the removal of floor slabs and footings, near Dillard’s and the mall’s main mechanical room.

Photo 3 is crushing concrete on site to recycle for use as subgrade and backfill material for the next phase of development + other projects in the Cedar Valley! ♻️

Photo 4 is Gorman’s - after carpet and floor tile removal (part of the asbestos abatement process).
